HGBC have a number of social action projects including:

Furniture Station
The Furniture Station supplies furniture to people referred to us by a recognised agency.

Acorn Pregnancy Advice Centre
Open 10am till 12am Monday to Friday, Counselors are available to talk. No medical advice is given.

Homeless
A team go out into the city centre on a regular basis to make friends, offer food and clothes.

School Assemblies/Puppets
In addition to the work done within local secondary schools and some primaries by Mark Paddon, the Youth Co-ordinator, there is a School's Team which visits local primary schools to take assemblies.

Causeway
Supporting adults with learning difficulties, second Monday of every month.

Luncheon Club
Mid-day 3 course meal for the elderly within our community. For details please call the Church office.
